Jacaranda Shadows

Los Angeles has been incredibly hot over the past week, but the Jacaranda trees are still blooming beautifully. They make a wonderful lavender canopy overhead while casting such majestic shadows on the street.

They are so lovely, aren't they? When I came up the hill and rounded the corner to see this view, it took my breath away. I also took some video footage because it was a bit breezy and the sound of the trees was so calming and peaceful. It's one of those sites I don't think I'll forget for the rest of my days.
